About GhanaNice
Ghana is nice. Here’s why we made a place to show it.
GhanaNice is one place to see why Ghana is nice. Explore all 16 regions, from landmarks and tourist sites to restaurants and local businesses, and find the guides, rides and stays that make exploring easier, whether you live here or you’re visiting.
Why it exists
Anyone who has landed in Ghana knows the feeling: the warm air as you step off the plane, your shoulders dropping before you’ve left the airport. GhanaNice is an attempt to bottle a little of that. For people here, for people abroad who miss it, and for people yet to visit.
What you’ll find
- All 16 regions, each with places worth the trip, facts worth knowing and photos of real places, every one credited to the person who took it.
- Places people love: restaurants, local businesses and spots shared by people who’ve been, added to each region once they’re checked.
- A travel directory of tour guides, transport and places to stay, each checked against its own website or social media page before it’s listed.
Next: the story of Ghana, and a calendar of its festivals and events.
Why you can add to it
GhanaNice shouldn’t be one person’s view of Ghana. The best places are often the ones only locals know, so anyone can share a place they love or list the travel service they run.
Every tip and listing is read by a person before it goes up. Nothing is published automatically. We look the place up, check it’s real and in the right region, and credit you by first name if you give one. Your email is never shown on the site.
